Wizards guard Jarvis Hayes, who missed his third consecutive game with a sore knee, will not play in the final three preseason games but is confident that rest and strengthening exercises will allow him to be in uniform rather than street clothes when Washington opens the regular season November 2 at Toronto, according to the Washington Post.

Hayes is no stranger to knee problems. Last season he was limited to 54 games due to knee troubles. He's worth a look if you need someone who can shot the three-pointer. However, don't plan on having him for the entire season.
