No world cup match has ever come close to reaching 3 or 4 billion views. The highest on record is ~700 million (for the entire match, not just people watching for a minute). This 3 or 4 billion is total viewers over the entire tournament (and not unique viewers). Olympic basketball isn't the 2nd most relevant international competition. Cricket World cup is.

What are you on about now? No Povertyball final has ever exceeded 1 billion viewers that watched more than 20 minutes.

What's your point? Yes, we know soccer is more popular than baseball worldwide. Your idiotic OP was trying to claim that 3-4 (individual) billion people watch the World Cup Final. Not even close. And the Olympic basketball tournament isn't even a blip internationally. There's really only one international team sports tournament that matters. Obviously the povertyball World Cup. The Cricket World Cup is probably 2nd in relevance, but boosted by the Indian subcontinent.
