Begging him for one more year. Probably telling him that he's needed more than last year, being no veteran leadership for these young cats when things get outa hand and I'm sure they will on more than occasion

Not hearing any news about him is disconcerting so far. I'm sure Manu wants to come back to win. He probably wouldn't choose to come back to the same team as last year. Hopefully we get s ok me good pieces back for avery while keeping him from Lakers.

Lol at thinking Pop hasn't had contact with Kawhi throughout this.

What is your source? Or do you mean the Manu "see you soon" tweet?

If the Spurs do not sign Anderson you would have to think they would need Manu to play SF in some settings.

The "see you soon" tweet. They've never really been known to hang out in the offseason so I take it that he's coming back.

God, I hope not. Not unless Manu has grown three inches since the first round. They don't need more guards and don't need to run Marco at the three.

Belinelli at SF is a virtual lock. If Ginobili returns, both will be defending backup SF's. If Ginobili retires, just Belinelli will.

I hope he retires too, though. Before the Belinelli signing, an argument could have been made for his making sense. Now, he'd just be taking minutes away from one of the younger guards.

It's time to move on. At least one of Mills or Green will be back to continue on as "culture carriers" and if, as I suspect, the former is, he'll probably be around for at least 3 more years to do so.

The more I think about it, the more I think Manu is gonna retire. He has no reason to keep playing unless someone offers him a boatload of cash or he decides to jump on the Warriors train for another ring.

Unless he actually wants to be a professional and help get the orgamization back on track after the extreme lack of professionalism of the posse and lma
