Are we seeing a more pleasant Pops after the LMA and recently Kawhi fiasco? He seemed like he aged a bit.

Interesting how he mentioned continuing to develop Bryn in the same breath as Dejounte. They must still see something in him.

Man, it's just great to see Pop in front of the camera again. I know he hates doing this shit but it gives me comfort. I'd follow this MFer into battle any day of the week.

I think pretty much all of his players and coaches feel similarly, which is why he's goat.

I mean, even SJax, that got unceremoniously cut midseason raves about what Pop means to the players.

Whenever you see someone (Spurs fan or not) bashing Pop it's just pure envy - what this guy has done in this little market is remarkable. It's easy to coach a fully stacked team in a prime city. Talk is cheap mother fuckers - you know who you are out there

Even people with opposite views recognize his leadership skills and would do the same.

Pop still standing after the blow he was dealt in his personal life. Basketball related issues won't phase him.

It really is unconscionable that Kawhi would pull this shit the season where pops wife died. So petty and small.

I guess they’re thinking that if he develops that supreme confidence that Steph Curry has then he can be a Curry-Lite. I know that’s a long shot but I don’t think it’s far from the truth of what the Spurs are thinking.

Yup.... a disgrace for his posse.

Pop's had a rough last couple of years. With the personal tragedy he's had to deal with, I think getting back to basketball with a good group of guys will be good for him.

I hope it reinvigorates him somehow tbh.

Pop could have thrown that PoS under the bus but didn't and, as always, said the right things. Best coach and the smartest guy in the league. Hope he stays for years to come but Im going to enjoy every game he coaches because someday soon he will be retired to some wine factory or whatever.

I’m so mad as that other dude, to the point I want to burn my jersey.. I mean, if he left in FA, cool.. it’s the way he handled everything that pisses me off. Fuck that guy, and fuck his uncle.

Pop has been on an emotional roller coaster, and you can see it on his face. He looks drained.

if they are thinking this, they are completely delirious (I really think they are not thinking so), curry's shoot is probably the biggest anomaly in the game's history (potentiated by soft rules, illegal screens in 100% of the time, and by a team stacked)

In Pop's defense, he has watched Bryn and Kyle side-by-side in practice and games for a couple of years. With that in mind, it is easy to see why he thinks Bryn is a Curry-lite.

Nobody brings this up enough. Makes one realize all the more what a worm Kawhi is.
