He won't ask for one.

I expect for them to have a honeymoon period. It's always unexpected losses, bad postseason performances etc that leave a bad sensation in the team.

Least seasons team went through a lot of adversity and didn't achieve a lot but they didn't have high expectations and in some ways overachieved.

I don't know what the expectations are there for this team but surely you expect them to play better than last season's team. So, they better be winning games tbh, which I think that they will. Then when the playoffs show around and there's a bunch of choking, well that's when the looking around starts.

^^ Expectation are probably to make WCF or compete for it. Beating Warriors will not be expected but cheering our team and trying will be fun.

According to well connected, highly respected, top insider MaNu4Tres he's wanted out again since like 2 months ago, the. :wakeup

Why would he want out? it's basically his team now.

LMA did a great job last year. He is clearly the team leader now. Manu may or may not return but even if he does its LMAs team now. I think he will be as happy as he would be anywhere. Hope so anyway.

He's already at his home state

DeRozan probably forestalled that. I think he and LMA will get along very well. Add in guys like Murray, and I don't see a reason why Aldridge wouldn't be in SA another three years.

LaMarcus was happy as a clam last season without Kawhi. He'll be fine. He'll appreciate DeRozan taking a little of the load off.

I think he'll be fine.

The past year was a shit show thanks to injuries and the elephant in the room.

LMA is a moody guy, he's happy here for the most part.

LMA got his "touches :cry" so he'll be fine. he played well last season so he should be content.

He’ll be fine as long as he gets his touches.

Agree with others, I think he'll be gravy - didn't ever get the feeling him and Kawhi were close at all, hell I didn't get that feeling about anyone with Kawhi minus maybe Danny.

And then he will be eligible for the loyalty contract.

Trade him for Kawhi.

:lol

The whole charade was a ploy by Pop and KL to get rid of LMA :lmao

I think they might actually work well together.

unlike some nephews, at least LMA will ask for a trade instead of houdining

LaMarcus has no reason to be request a trade. He's clearly the unquestioned team-leader now (DeRozan is not an Alpha-personality so there's no question there), and he gets to be in his home state close to his son, which is why he came back in the first place. DeMar will help alleviate some of the scoring pressure on him and the two will coexist just fine tbh.

The midrange brothers will get along splendidly, imo

I dont think lma will be a diva about it. Its an easy scapegoat situation. Demarr is known as a choker in the playoffs. I bet lma thinks demar will get the majority of the blame if the team underperforms compared to last season in the regular season and playoffs.

It gives him someone to point the finger to imo.

i think we're going to see a completely different aldridge this season. an aldridge that leads. this is the yr he takes the reigns from duncan(even though duncan left over a season ago).

for some reason i think moving kawhi just proved to aldridge that we're all in on him and that this is now his team going forward. he will need to corral the rest, on and off the court, just like duncan during his career here.

Pop just sent KL to Siberia, doubt if anyone else sticks their head up for awhile.

Never say never, but he definitely embraced his role last season.
