Who'da thought Baylor would take A&M and OU to overtime on the road? They certainly don't suck anymore. Some more experience like this and they'll start winning some of these close games.

Baylor has improved a lot but still suck.

Out of curiosity, what do they have to do to get out of the "suck" category? Obviously being in every game and having a winning record isn't enough. Do they have to beat Texas?

(1) a bowl game this season
(2) more than two conference wins (playing tough and forcing OT is nice and all, but they need to learn to finish the deal)
(3) competing at the same level next season.

I don't think any of these points are unreasonable.

Hey...Baylor is taking the first step back to respectability...they are competing in every game, they are two plays away from being 6-1. If they get to 6 wins, Guy Morriss, IMO is Big 12 COY.

No, those don't seem unreasonable at all. (1) will be tough just because giving away two close games, in conference, on the road is hard to recover from for any team. (2) will have to come with experience, and probably will have to start happening this year, or (3) is in jeopardy.

Baylor is 6-1 against TCU since 1989.

Baylor didn't start playing Big 12 games until 1996, so I would guess that a fair amount of the six wins came from SWC play (I think Baylor tied for 1st in SWC in an A&M disqualification year in 1995, so they were still decent at the end of SWC play).
