Would love for kyle to Join Kawhi in Toronto.

He'd be a great addition in the regular season as a Devensive specialist. He's never gonna warrant more than 10mpg in a playoff series but in the regular season he should be a valuble defensive rotation player.

Indications are that Mem will use him as a wing. IIRC one prominent phis media type called him a Gay replacement.

The problem with Anderson is that he has skills and size to be really good but against people of similar size and skill the fact he is an inferior athlete to most other NBA players makes him play at a disadvantage that his advantages merely compensate for not overcome. This makes him an intriguing but merely average player. With the right roster his issues can be compensated for, and then he can be a useful complementary peice, I. The wrong situation he will constantly get taken advantage of due to his weaknesses.

Pretty much this. It probably was the right decision to not sign him thinking about it again. He is a great glue guy around great talent just like Carmelo does well on his Team USA outtings.

I'm not sure if Kyle ever got his props that were due. As far as I know he never complained about his minutes or his role or caused a problem in the lockerroom. While you can't learn speed or quickness, he learned how to use his length and some anticipation to improve his defense. Frankly, he was better on defense after a few years than I ever thought he could be as a rookie. And he learned how to get his shot on those oh-so-slo-mo drives against NBA competition and occasionally surprised with a 3. So he tried to improve and I think became something of a rotational asset. Never a star, but worth some props for his attitude, improvement and all-around usefulness. He always gave us the best that he had and you cant ask more than that of any player.

I hope he does great as a Grizzly. Thank you Kyle.

:toast. I agree. Hate speech and commentary flow too easily on the internet and especially on this board. He filled in nicely although to the eye he was ugly but the advanced stats show he his IQ and versatility makes a difference. I too hope he does well but I am not too disappointed we didn't resign him because the Grizzlies made a good pick up as he was a better fit for them than the Spurs.

Last year was his first time seeing consistent minutes and last season had so much turmoil. He should definitely improve.

Can't finish at the rim. Doesn't take wide open shots. Allows for defenders to cheat on defense, and puts other teammates in jeopardy. Not going to improve, but certainly going to regress. Will only get slower.

He did a lot of little things well, unfortunately he didn’t do the big things well enough. I would have been disappointed if the Spurs had matched Memphis.

Agreed. Honestly was better than I expected him to be but I'm comfortable with RC & Pop letting him walk. It's almost like you have to build the team around him in order for him to see his full potential. Not sure he will ever get that chance.

i think had the spurs pulled that kawhi trade sooner then after fathead move, they wouldve kept fathead at 10m a year...instead of signing cunningham for 3m

he is a very vocal guy on the floor, but the problem is nobody is going take you serious since u come off the bench and dont even put up numbers when team needs production...

how many times have we all seen him being very vocal on defense on last possession plays only to miss that play cause he was slow to rotate...

this clown is more passive then when rj/diaw was here on t heir down years...
