Putting some of this here as a reminder to myself.

Cocaine Coast - 1980's Spanish fisherman becomes a drug smuggler

Demetri Martin - The Overthinker
One of my favorite comedians. Especially when he uses the visuals. Which it looks like this routine does.

That Jack Ryan show with Jim from the Office
They've been promoting this for what seems like a years.

They've already agreed for a season 2 Jack Ryan before they even premiered the pilot. Michael Kelly, the guy that plays the weasel underling for Kevin Spacey in House of Cards will be in season 2 of JR.

It also is taking forever for them to get to season 3 of Man in the High Castle

Bert Kreischer's new special is out in a few weeks. They are flooding the market with comedy specials, but at least a decent amount are comedians I like.

I watched Casino again the other day on Netflix and it is really good. For some reason I always thought of it as a Goodfellas knock off or sequel but if you read about its insanely true to life. Its based on a guy named Lefty Rosenthal (De NIro) and a mobster named Nick Spilotro (Pesci's character) and even the part where the midget Pesci sleeps with De Niro's good looking wife is based on what happened in real life (Spilotro was like 5'5). The knocking out walls to rob places, etc all that really happened.

'Orange Is The New Black' will hold me over somewhat 'til the MVP 'Ozark' Season 2 comes online.

Yeah Tony the Ant Spilotro was a pretty famous underworld Chicago Mob figure. There's some good youtube docs on him. As far as the authenticity of Casino, very true (for the most part)...even when they whacked that chick who tried to sue squeaky-clean Phillip Green over a past real estate deal.

Too bad, Season 11 was actually really good IMO. Haven't seen 12 or 13 yet.

Season 5 was perfect. I got to 10, but maybe I will watch the rest someday. It was just even more derivative after 5.

Season 5 was definitely the best season. Season 6 has a couple of the best episodes however, though it's largely uneven. The show hit a lull for several seasons but I thought they did a great job getting things back on track. Plan on binging 12 and 13 soon.

By stopped I mean just that. I intend on watching the rest but I just have too many shit on my Netflix list to get through first.

I also need to pick Vikings back up. I'm 2 seasons behind that. Their break is so fucking long I lose interest on the show. By the time it's back I forget where I'm at. I think I will just wait until that series wraps.

I gave up on Vikings in Season 3 I think. Started to become redundant and I found myself getting bored.

That show does get talky. It's like Game of Thrones without the massive fights and budget.

I still enjoy it.

Since this is a catch all thread, I've been watching the Condor miniseries on the Audience Network. It's an update of the 70s novel Six Days of the Condor and Redford movie Three Days of the Condor. Good cast starring Jeremy Irons' son Max, William Hurt, Mira Sorvino and Brendan Fraser. More upfront with what the bad guys are doing as opposed to the Redford movie, but has kept up the tension nicely over the 6/10 episodes I've seen.

Available to those with an AT&T package like DirecTV, DirecTV Now, Uverse or AT&T Watch that comes with some unlimited phone plans.
