View Full Version : Sox cheat again

Umps have caused the Angels and Astros to lose game 2 because of blown calls.

Dye did not get hit by the pitch, he should have been still at home, wheeler still should have been pitching and Qualls still would have been in the pen, had the ump not blown the call.

Astros won this game, the ump fucked them up the ass...no doubt about it.

The story tomorrow will be how fucked the Astros got and how Dye cheated, by lying.

Ok, so Dye sold the hit by pitch.

Just like Everett sold the tag on Yadier Molina at second in game six.

What's the difference? Just cause it's happening to the Astros instead of for them?

So, you're saying that Wheeler would've stayed in the game, and Konerko wouldn't have still jacked that one out?

But, if Yadier was called safe - and the bases were subsequently loaded with no outs (instead of first and third with one out) that the Cardinals wouldn't have scored?

Pretty ridiculous arguing what would've happened, isn't it? Konerko could've still jacked it out. John Rodriguez could've done the same thing. Pointless argument.

I thought the whole argument was how Dye sold a call that didn't happen - and the exact parallel of Everett selling a call that didn't happen.

And how it's 'cheating' when the White Sox do it, and not when the Astros do it.

Pal.

Better get yourself together darlin’
Join the human race
How in the world you gonna see
Laughin’ at fools like me
Who in the hell d’you think you are
A super star
Well, right you are

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Well we all shine on
Ev’ryone come on

Instant karma’s gonna get you
Gonna knock you off your feet
Better recognize your brothers
Ev’ryone you meet
Why in the world are we here
Surely not to live in pain and fear
Why on earth are you there
When you’re ev’rywhere
Come and get your share

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Yeah we all shine on
Come on and on and on on on
Yeah yeah, alright, uh huh, ah

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun
Yeah we all shine on
On and on and on on and on

Well we all shine on
Like the moon and the stars and the sun

asinine point????

Just watch the sports channels tomorrow and listen to sports talk. All you will hear is what I was saying, and that is how the Astros got fucked up the ass.

They had the balls to come back, but lost on a HR.

So - defend the Astros call on Everett. Was it cheating also?

For the record, I don't think either of them were. It's selling a call.

Just like pulling the ball back into the strike zone, just like acting like you got fouled, just like the punter falling down with little to no contact.

I'm just curious how you think they're different. They both acted like something happened that clearly didn't, and it helped their teams out.

Horry For 3!

If Yadier is safe at home, John Rodriguez comes up with no outs and a gets 1 out and drives in 1 run,.

Eckstein comes up 1st and 3rd 1 out and who knows what, and then maybe Edmonds.

If Jim doesn't think that was a game changing play hes wrong. It was only 3-1 with after Rodriguez sacrficed.

Who knows, the Cards tie the game, come back take the lead, who knows what.

But the White Sox belted Lidge it sounds like so its all even.

Byung Hung Lidge?

I am OK with the blown calls...Hopefully the Astros can bounce back better than the Angels....What bothers me are the local Chicago Restaurant owners making sport of it...Offering free steak dinners to the officiating staff, naming meals after them etc...

They have made these guys celebrities...

I am so tired.

I did not get back to College Station until 4 am and I had to get up at 6:30.

2 hrs sleep is not enough...I am getting old.

I went from jubilation in the 4th inning to incredulous in the 5th to jubilation in the 8th to hope in the 9th to anger in the 9th to panic in the 11th to just plain fear and then depression in the 14th.

What a waste of $459.00

PS, I had to pay $50 to park last night...I was fucked over bigtime...it should have been an omen.
