But these persons have created a brand name for themselves and have national in-built audiences. Marketers aren't going to pernicious role players; and often marketers are booting celebrity endorsers for unbecoming behavior as well. It's basically a fine line. He hasn’t even had that many opportunities yet. You have to play games to figure out what you have to work on. And now that he’s played games this is his first “real” developmental summer. It’s good that he has that confidence. Like I said a while before.. not many players his level seems to talk or have the confidence he does. Nope. He was terrible on offense nearly the whole season. I love that he is playing defense, but if all your starting PG can do is play defense, then he shouldn't be starting. If he can't pass, dribble or score, then he shouldn't be starting. He hasn't walked any kind of walk at all in regard to the position he's on the court to play. He also let Lonzo Ball light his ass up on numerous occasions and have the shooting performances of his season. Why do people keep saying Murray can’t dribble? The dude can dribble just fine. It’s not due to lack of ball handling when he dribbles it’s the lack of ball security as in being smart with the ball. Most of his turnovers are from passes, not like he gets ripped anymore. He just needed the playing time and experience to know how to protect the ball. His handle is fine. And as for the Lonzo Balll thing I’m sure he was allowing Lonzo to shoot (because he couldn’t) and Lonzo happened to be hot those games. Doesn’t account for the fact that he plays better defense on more important guards. It’ll be fine. He just had to play more in order to see what he had to work on and I’m sure he’s been working on those weaknesses all summer.

The Kawhi statement is exactly what I thought about but didn’t want to mention him. But a key point from what Kawhi said.. and I kind of said it in my post. He said you have to play games to see what you need to work on. Dejounte has done that to finish the last season. He has then worked on weaknesses in the summer. Now he has to try it in actual games. So basically it hasn’t even started for him. THIS is the season where that all applies to see if he can translate it into the actual games.

He hasn’t played and you don’t know how good he’ll be this year or in the future (that goes for the people saying he’s good as well) but it is undeniable we haven’t had a rookie this naturally talented in a long time. Another thing.. we can’t just trade a point guard because we are super thin at that position and Murray’s defense and rebounding at a bare minimum is too much to give up give for a rental.
