Hmmm... it's ironic that this is the day that NBA TV televises "Spurs Day," is also the day that the news has come out that Manu is comptemplating retirement. Watching the games so far from 2003 and 2005, which featured the Big Three, of course, brings back fond memories as well as much appreciation for what the Big Three and the Spurs Organization has accomplished! We're unsure of what Manu might do at this point, but watching him on "Spurs Day," is so bittersweet...

Imagine if that prime 2003 Spurs team added a Kevin Durant like Warriors did. They could have 5 peated.

Except the league is weaker now than in 2003, still had Shaq and Kobe, prime Dirk, LeBron in Cleveland.

Lol! In game 7 of the 2005 Finals, they zoomed in on a poster which featured "Obi Won Ginobili." Oh yeah, he played an integral part in that game. Wow! What flashback memories...

At 8:00 PM, CST, NBA TV is featuring game one of the 2007 Western Semifinals Finals against the Phoenix Suns. I'm surprised that they aren't televising game 4, which featured the infamous Horry Hip Check incident, lol!

Game 6 of that series is IMO the greatest game Manu ever played. Especially since it effectively clinched the 2007 title.

One of my favorite home game memories to witness in person. Manu was dominant.

If the '03 team added Durant in the summer of '03 they definitely beat the Lakers in 5 in '04. Spurs went up 2-0 on the Lakers in '04 and I remember the Lakers making the adjustment of clogging the paint and forcing the Spurs to shoot open 3's. Put Durant on the Spurs and that strategy backfires and results in a series that ends in 4-5 games.

Robinson at center, Duncan and Durant at forward

Parker and Manu at guards

WOULD HAVE BEEN LITERALLY UNSTOPPABLE.....

Ironic that Parker's Beauty Queen MVP rests on Manu's shoulders.

Defensive pg would be a better fit for that team. Parker wouldn't be needed.
