SpursTalk was upgraded to vBulletin 4.2.5 tonight. If you see anything not working correctly, please report it in this thread.

As far as I can tell, the issues involving editing posts and viewing hidden posts have been resolved.

-SSL certificate needed (done)
-vBulletin upgrade to 4.2.5 needed (upgraded)

Why is registration required to view threads now?
Many reasons with the main reason being security. Until this forum is off of vBulletin, the best way to keep malicious bots at bay is to limit what they have access to. Unfortunate but it's the only choice right now.

Does it make a difference? I saw one guy named Eric Salinas on twitter, he copied a trade proposal (mine in particular) from here. I’m sure he’s not the only one stealing takes, lots of media guys like browsing and taking ideas for articles here.

Hmmm... first two things that come to mind: 1) If you're logging in at a thread, make sure the Remember Me box is checked. 2) If you have a bookmark for ST, you could try deleting it and making a new one. It could be pointing a page that could wipe the cookie.

If that doesn't work, let me know which browser you are using. Thanks.

This happened to me the other morning too when I tried to reread a post I had made the previous night--for some reason it wasn't showing up and had me thinking it had been deleted by management for some reason. It eventually showed up later that day.

It took ~5s to start loading the main top banner ad, and that completed rendering around the 6s mark. Is it being loaded synchronously? If so, perhaps load the ad slot/make the ad request asynchronously and/or prefetch the ad as the user navigates to the main ST landing page, so it loads at the same time as the thread text content:

This issue is actually a cookies issue. If anyone sees threads acting strangely, clearing cookies will fix it.

Are we able to edit our own thread titles now? I accidentally double left clicked next to the title of "Spurs Injury Report" and it made it editable with a cursor? After I made a change a loading wheel appeared and change was made.

Seems to only work on threads made within last 24 hours.
