He's still the #2 scorer in La Liga, and has nearly a third of all of Barca's goals this season.

Having said that, the frustrating thing about Suarez is that he can look like the best #9 in the world and then other times look like someone who has literally never played football in his life.

One thing is for sure, he shouldn't be playing 90 minutes every week (the whole Barca squad look exhausted as hell right now) and Barca desperately need backups for both him and Jordi Alba. If Alba was to get injured Barca would be doomed.

Lots of good players out there to help with fatigue imo. Should go for sterling...much better than coutinho and Man city is probably dumb enough to let sterling go.

They could also use a workhorse off the bench like son. Dude hasnt had an offseason in 2 years and plays likes hes fresh all the time

Yup, crazy how bad he is this year, not sure if Reguillon is the answer but he does well so aar. Can't wait to get rid of Bale btw.

Lucky to escape Ajax with a win, should have been a 1-4 loss. Copa the only "chance" but not a big one. Finish third in league is the maximum i guess.

VARcelona might be one the best nicknames in recent memory, much better than UEFAlona. It just fits like a glove :lol

I wanna see Florentino crawl in his own filth some more, so i have no issues with this result ;)

On another note, midget was a mere spectator this game, as he tends to be when he's not playing middle of the table teams. His teammates did all the work but that's what's gonna take for barca to make a deep CL run, because it's well documented how unreliable midget is in KO stages for both NT and club.

In terms of legacy, Zidane should go to PSG..Just making a CL final would enhance his. The bar is that low at that Club :lol.

Gonna be a wild coaching carousel this summer (

My prediction:

Juve: Zidane (70%), Conte (30%)
Madrid: Mourinho (35%), Zidane (30%), Allegri (20%), Pochettino (15%)
Inter: Conte (60%), Allegri (40%)

Zidane or Mourinho will get the PSG job if Tuchel is fired..

For the rest, Emery/Solkajear/Sarri will likely be retained for next season..The latter is favorite to get the Roma job if Chelsea sack him.

I like Zidane but Real is coming off a CL 3peat. The bar was set so high that i don't know if ZZ will be able to meet expectations anytime soon, with Real in need of a overhaul. He's taking a huge gamble here.

Plus there will always be the ghost of Ronaldo looming over his head, if he fails to show results, you already know what people will say.

ZZ came back under certain conditions

He wanted more control over transfers, otherwise he wouldn’t have taken the chance

What's the gamble now? Real has already shit themselves in the 9 months he's been gone and has no expectations now. The bar is reset.

Meanwhile Ronaldo jumped ship the same time Zidane did, but for a one team domestic league and might crash out of CL. Zidane played this shit perfectly :wow

Teams like Real are not exactly known for giving coaches time to develop a team/chemistry, they want results and they want them quick. There's always gonna be expectations regardless of how shitty the previous season was, specially when Real is expected to move large sums next summer. One bad season and spanish media and fans will come down on ZZ. For instance, Ancelotti got sacked the season right after he won the CL.

I'd argue that it was a risk for Zizou wherever you go....you can't top a CL threepeat tbh.

Now he gets a huge raise, a war chest for the summer, and gets to ship Ceasar back to the EPL :lol

BARCELONA, Spain -- There's a joke among local residents in Castelldefels, a town squashed between the sea and the mountains outside of Barcelona, that Philippe Coutinho's home is a jinx.

Cesc Fabregas bought it months before being sold to Chelsea. Thomas Vermaelen's stay there coincided with lengthy spells on the sideline with injuries. Andre Gomes then moved in after joining Barcelona from Valencia for nearly €40 million but the Portuguese midfielder never found his feet at Camp Nou, admitting that he struggled to deal with the criticism his performances garnered from supporters.

Coutinho was the €160m man destined to lift the curse. Luis Suarez, his former teammate at Liverpool, helped him find the house

Zidane is testing players right now, I mean our season was over a long time ago, young players to see if he keeps them next season, and veterans to see if they are still motivated (cough Marcelo)

It seems like it will be a back to back La Liga championship win for Barca. Real Madrid is losing their magnificent play for the last couple of years after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure. It seems like there's no exciting matches for this week aside from the game against Atletico Madrid vs. Valencia.

Lopetegui got Vinicius to replace Ronaldo, Mariano and Curtouis. It wasn't all his fault, he didn't know Cristiano was on his way out. But what sense had to send Vinicius to play for Castilla? The team was incapable of making goals in several games, defense was bad too.

Solari was disliked by Marcelo and Isco, and lost several consecutive games at the Bernabeu, including two clásicos.

Zidane received a hot potato, and Benzema, the only player making goals just got injured. He's going to stay no matter what, and will have a big say in next season signings.

Barcelona seldom gets good results vs Valencia. Valencia won most games the last part of the league, qualified to the the Champions, also made it to the semi finals of Europa League. The team has a considerable budget, it's better than what the league standings suggest. There was no guarantee Barcelona was to win easily.

Winning the league is no small feat, Barça won it also against very strong Madrid teams that won the Champions too. Lopetegui had as priority to win the league too. Atlético fielded a very strong team, for the 100 anniversary and the Champions final is to be played at their stadium. They got robbed in the first legal against Juventus, though. I don't think Juve would came back from a 0:4.
