“Open Gym” starts monday, super excited to get started 👍🏻🏀⛹🏼*♂️ #opengym #spurs #playerdevelopment

Sounds like good news for Poeltl. Songaila had really good fundamentals on the low block. He could help expand Poeltl's game.

It'll be interesting to see if he primarily works with the bigs or if he'll work with perimeter players too.

Wasn't he rumored to join as a player a couple of summers like 10 years ago?

Anyway, Camp opens September 24 I think?

I had thought that the Kawhi fiasco would make me tune out, but I'm looking forward to this season more than most. Really looking forward to Dejounte and Derrick, and even DD and Poeltl.

Not gifting Kawhi to either LA team raised my spirits.

But if Derrick White is not playing while guys like Forbes do my interest level could go down real quick.

He spent his recent years as an assistant coach for Zalgiris Kaunas (under head coach Jasikevicius who was rumored to be a candidate for the Raptors coaching job). They had a great season, winning the third place game in the Euroleague Final Four against CSKA Moscow despite having a much less talented roster.

Forbes is going to have a break out season. Book it.

:toast Well done!
was a good college player ...nice fundamentals and played hard.
Sounds like most mediocre NBA players that turn in to solid assistant coaches.

Does he have an acne problem or something?

Yeah and he wasn’t an awful player in the NBA. Just made a living playing average ball for who, the wizards, bulls, and a couple others (without using Google that is)
