They'll win 40-48 games. Make the playoffs as the 6-8 seed and be bounced in the 1st round.

Well the bar has been set very low by the OP that there is no way for the spurs not to defy this prediction.

this was funny slicer.

I was going to say obviously the loss prediction is a trolling attempt...
however Lamarcus and Derozan bouncing out and the Spurs going on a complete and full rebuild, ... well I won't say it's impossible at this point.

Should the Spurs underperform heavily, I'd have to think that is Plan C or D ... it's at least one of the worst case scenarios...

With the Spurs recently asking for trades and such, I just won't bet that it's an impossibility at this point.

I know nothing about Derozan except of his epic chokes and the fact he's been one of the worst playoff performers of his generation (and apparently any generation...)

Anyways, I think the Spurs have been predicted by the media to be so bad, that they just won't be as bad as predicted.

Still, I am looking for silver linings in players other than Derozan... some of the younglings perhaps shows me something.

I would say you are right in a worst case scenario it could happen but for it to happen it would require both LMA and Demar to miss a lot of games to injuries. If LMA and Demar remain healthy then I see this team winning 50 plus.

There is always the possibility they keep the guys and tank a season like that epic tankathon of a season where Robinson and a host of others got injured, then in the draft they got Timmy D.

I just don't know that any of these guys wouldn't ask for a trade if the other splits ... anyways, this is a troll thread and a hypothetical.

This upcoming draft would be the worst one to tank for. I have heard none of the prospects are amazing.

I know nothing about it, but these things aren't planned for.

It would be the worst case scenario. Timmy Duncans are hard to come by any year anyways... lol

Hoping for a good season myself. If they have to tank, it's foolish to think it would all be fixed in one season. Hopefully these younglings show something tho.

Tanking works when their is a strong class of prospects but the current 2019 class is nothing amazing from what I have read about. Last season would have been the best time to tank.

53-29 second round.. But would not be suprised if they get a WCF. appearance... Will be a slow rough start but will be clicking on all cylinders come march
.. I sense this year they will play with more hunger and. chips on their shoulders with lots to prove... Including pop....

LOL, as dire as things have looked this team would still easily make the playoffs, especially if healthy.

SequSpur

Look, no team wins 30-40 games.. you either win 45 plus or less than 25. The Spurs are gonna suck. I guarantee it. The West is too strong and they will lose 3 our of 4 to each of the top 9 teams. They play 36 games or so against the east which they may win 16 of them at home. I just don't see it. Aldridge and De Frozen going to be gone at all star break and tank mode will be in full effect... Also Spurs move to Las Vegas in 2021. Book it.
