Jack Reacher TV show in production? /bluefont?

HOLLYWOOD (BS) - Reports have surfaced that the successful book series turned movie franchise Jack Reacher is headed for the small screen.

Sources behind the scenes have told BS that the WB Network is close to reaching a deal for a 12 episode season that would air beginning in March of 2020.

But that may not be the biggest news.

These same sources further note that actor Terry Crews, noted for his current role on Brooklyn 99 will be playing the main character of Reacher.

"I'm thrilled that Terry agreed to do this" proclaimed book author Lee Childs. "He's exactly what I have in mind when I picture Reacher. They couldn't have chose a better actor for the role."..........

That's how ya do it, and how it should have been done from the beginning. Jack Reacher is like me a big black guy in a big white body.

Crews is 6-3 245 pounds, and like Reacher a former football player, he played in 32 NFL games.

Lee Childs knows them blues. In the very first Reacher novel KILLING FLOOR (a 1930 blues lyric) we find Jack in Georgia in search of just how did legit blues icon Blind Blake die? (a true mystery). Reacher too cool to be white.

I have actually thought....why is he white? So this really is kind of.....it's about time.
