Cavill was alright, I guess. I won't blame him for Zack Snyder's incompetence. Affleck was replaceable and Batman was butchered anyway. Warner Bros should have made a second Superman movie instead of rushing to make an expanded universe (original thought, I know). Wonder Woman might be the only reason they don't scrap this shit right now.

Yep, Submariner.

Namor the Sub-Mariner (/ˈneɪmɔːr/ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/English)) (Namor McKenzie) is a fictional character (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fictional_character) appearing in American comic books (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_comic_book) published by Marvel Comics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Comics). Debuting in early 1939, the character was created by writer-artist Bill Everett (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Everett) for Funnies Inc. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funnies_Inc.), one of the first "packagers" in the early days of comic books that supplied comics on demand to publishers looking to enter the new medium (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_media). Initially created for the unreleased comic Motion Picture Funnies Weekly (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_Picture_Funnies_Weekly), the Sub-Mariner first appeared (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_appearance) publicly in Marvel Comics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Mystery_Comics) #1 (cover-dated (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cover-date) Oct. 1939) – the first comic book from Timely Comics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timely_Comics), the 1930s–1940s predecessor of the company Marvel Comics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Comics). During that period, known to historians and fans as the Golden Age of Comic Books (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Age_of_Comic_Books), the Sub-Mariner was one of Timely's top three characters, along with Captain America (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_America) and the original Human Torch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_Torch_%28android%29). Everett said the character's name was inspired by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Taylor_Coleridge)'s poem, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rime_of_the_Ancient_Mariner)".[1] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namor#cite_note-1) Everett came up with "Namor" by writing down noble-sounding names backwards and thought Roman/Namor looked the best.[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namor#cite_note-2)

Didn't hate Cavil, though, I agree that all 3 movies that he was in were trash. Also agree that DC seems like they are trying to make random comic movies, without them relating to each other. The fact that they are already replacing to key DC superheroes (Superman, and probably Batman) doesn't bode well for the DCEU long term.

As long as we're triggering the right-wingers I just got another great idea: Beener Superman.

Recast Superman but with a really ethnic Mexican. See he's already an immigrant and an illegal immigrant to boot plus Superman is like an American icon so you take that away from a white guy and put a Mexican beener in there the triggering would be off the charts.

Maybe in the sequel he finds out his family is not really dead after all and he chain migrates em all over here. Selena Gomez will play his sister Supergirl of course. George Lopez as Jor-El

Nice.

Really ill give credit to this movie for being prophetic in one point it: really the captured the zeitgeist of the current time in that it showed there is no scenario you can put a modern white male in where he wont feel sorry for himself in and spend time being the victim of stuff.

Honestly im a white male and until movies like this and all the rightwing sites popped up last few years had no idea how bad I had it. I was like happy even until i found how much stuff im the victim of now

bale is overrated as bruce wayne. nolan and ledger carried his ass.
While I really like TDK, the movie was more about the Joker and the fall of Harvey Dent than anything Batman/Bruce Wayne did. You could have almost removed any Batman storyline from that movie and it wouldn't have changed a whole lot.

FYI

'Batman & Robin' was the last one and is credited with putting the superhero film genre in a coma

He sucked in TDK bc of his silly Bat-voice. And Hardy kinda ruined TDKR for most people regardless of how well Bale performed, lol.

DCEU should focus on trying to get Shaq back as Man of Steel
Lol "most people"

bane's voice was pretty dumb. was sean connery wearing darth vader mask.

but the movie was still really good

I liked TDKR overall. My only problem was the final city battle scene when all the guns, rifles, and tanks are firing and it's so unrealistic bc zero blood zero body explosions, the PG-13 really limited the potential for that climactic battle scene.

I don't mind the makeup at all. As a stand alone movie, with Joaquin Phoenix, I have no problem with The Joker's design.

Far more excited on this release than any other MCU tbh but then again, I’m a huge Phoenix fan.
