Why do people keep saying Alabama looks in a league of their own this season as if it hasn't been that way for like 8 straight seasons? :lol
Keeping up with the national playoff scene is a fool's game. Gotta hope Saban retires ASAP to get this shit interesting again.

There's probably 10 programs that realistically have shots at the playoffs year in, year out for the next 20+ years. Everyone else is just watching from their lame bowl game.

On one hand SEC is a meat grinder but a 1-loss SEC Champion will never be left out of the Playoff

I ultimately think the current system favors Alabama. This isn't the mid-late 90s when a last second lose to a non-Conference opponent the final game of the season ends your Title chances [1997 FSU]. How many Titles would Bobby Bowden have under todays system....

They would put a 2 loss alabama team in the playoff even if every team they faced had already beaten them straight up that very season.
