Clippers guard Shaun Livingston will miss the season opener and could miss as much as the first month of the season due to a lower back injury that continues to make very little progress, according to ESPN. An MRI revealed irritation in Livingston's back and he's expected to have further tests this week with back specialist Dr. William Dillin.

That clears things up in the Clippers point guard battle as veteran Sam Cassell will clearly be option one and two in that department until Livingston returns. Despite his potential, it's difficult for us to suggest he have a significant role in your fantasy team's plans this season.
