Knicks swingman Quentin Richardson is out indefinitely with a hamstring strain. His status for the regular season opener is in doubt and Trevor Ariza is penciled in to start in his place, according to the New York Post.

The absence of Q simply means the Knicks will be without arguably their most inconsistent shooter. Richardson is little more than a fifth guard or forward in the majority of fantasy leagues, but his value spikes slightly in leagues that count three-pointers as a category.
