Every team he belongs to gets worse (not possible with Kings). We had less wins last year, the curse is causing injuries already this year. We’ll be a lottery team unless we eradicate him soon.

Grizzlies got better not because Gay was not there but because Gasol and Conley went into their primes. Add Rudy yo that and it would've been even better.

They got worse when he came back from injury to restart the curse. That is why he was traded to Toronto.

People Rudy Gay is looking great this year. In our short sample size no one looks better. He, DeRozan, and LMA are great players and might surprise a few people.

Grizz were damn good with Gay dude
Lost in 1st round to clipper with him shooting around 40% and the Grizz beat us without him in the first round and that's the reason why. Not saying he's the reason for our problems because I don't believe that to be true, but those things happened that I posed

Rudy has put up good numbers before, but the team will perform worse. That is the curse.

I somewhat believe in the curse.. but this is completely different. Rudy is now a 3rd option. He won’t be able to affect the game in a negative way as he did as the 1st and 2nd option. He will be more like a 3&D type of guy for this team. But also with the ability to be the main guy off the bench in small doses, allowing the team to have someone who can get their own shot at any time. It’s not that big of a deal. The way he’s playing now is much more efficient than years past.

Rehabs hard and comes to Spurs to play for a contender, and Kawhi transforms into fuckin' Nephew.

Trade Nephew and put together a somewhat dangerous squad, and your starting All-Defense PG goes down in preseason.

Dude really can't catch a break.

It's like fucking Final Destination. The Curse wasn't able to make the Spurs miss the playoffs last year. It will NOT be making the same mistake again.

Isn't it more that the universe wants the Spurs to get a number 1 pick to replace Duncan? I think lma is next probably. DeRozan plays the Dominique role, pop retires. It's all there really

That Rudy Gay curse is potent it won't stop until the Spurs are in the lottery like OP said.

Maybe he does need to go but he will only go when the Spurs start a rebuild so, it's going to continue chugging.

I feel really bad for Rudy. From what I've seen so far and read about him he's a great teammate, plays hard and has been on really &%$# teams. For once he comes someplace where he doesn't have to carry the team, and boom. Nephew knees and heels later...
