Bring back MVParker, shouldn't cost much, a 2nd rounder, best PG option out there with Dijon gone. Knows the system vet leader future hall of famer. Can't be done immediately but pull it off asap.

I don't wish that on anyone. He's never missed the playoffs, let's not start that for him now.

Blossom was waived. Maybe making room for another PG. Could Manu be changing his mind?

I'm for this.

Manu has come out since his announcement and said he knows he's made the right decision. Said he doesn't feel like his body can hang another season. Let him enjoy retirement.

You want to give up more assets to bring back a guy who we could've had as a FA and who people have been trying to ship out since 2012?

Parker was washed up last year. A g-league player would be better than Parker at this point. Parker is going through the Kobe phase of his career which is get paid while being washed up.

Parker was ALL NBA in 2012, 13 and 14. Remember ST with its hatreds and agendas isn't the real world. Tony was pretty good when healthy well past 2012.
The fact we could have had him for free is now irrelevant. I'd trade a second rounder to get Tony back. Guy knows the system, can educate White, and has no illusions that this is a long term job. Also makes a nice story.
Won't happen though.

Agreed; I was never one of the Parker haters, although he looked pretty bad last season and I wasn't too beat up about him leaving.
That said...that ship has sailed. The Spurs aren't going to give up more to go backwards, even if Parker could be a useful piece given the current turn of events.
I think they will either try to make space for an available vet PG, or we will ride or die with Mills/White.

I think you're right. It's really just wishful thinking on my part.
