WTF!!! First reaction is what is going on with strength and conditioning?!?!? But, thinking about it, we have a bunch of role players who are suddenly cast into major minutes and unfamiliar territory so we are probably going to see more injuries. That said though, this is a lot of significant injuries for a training staff that already had question marks.

Not that this necessarily applies to all of the recent Spur injuries, but I read a fascinating article by orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews about the increase of injuries to younger (teen and early 20's) athletes. His reasoning for the rash of injuries is attributed to a lack of cross training, and an emphasis on specialized training year round.

Not sure and not going to look it up but I think the Grizzlies the past few seasons had one year they went with 26 different starting lineups or something crazy like that (or maybe it was 26 different players in their roster). It didn't end well so not wishing that.
