Because Amazon Fake News Services put "dark money" in the article (un-sourced), they justified putting dark money in the title, too. BTW, the single quotes in 'dark money' was only later added. I don't know if they listed a correction or not on that; I doubt it.

Collins received money from a legitimate group through legal means; hardly seems respectable (real news) to list an article as her receiving dark money.

it's referred to as dark money because JCN isn't legally required to disclose its donors. it says so right there in the article.

are you sure you didn't take a stupid pill?

:lol Organizations that protect the identity of their donors are now dark-money entities because the DC fake news outlet says so.

You're okay with totally diminishing the meaning of dark money as long as it fits your fake news needs. You take dishonor pills.

To me it means that a 501(c)4, a social welfare organization, is not legally required to release information about its donors, and that, therefore, the public does not know who is spending money to lobby to influence public policy, buy TV ads for Brett Kavanaugh or reward Senator Collins for her vote.

I bet you'd want to know if the money was being spent on Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.

Shouldn't the public know who's spending money to influence their opinion and their elected officials?

To me it is a hypothetical form of money that is thought to account for approximately 85% of the money in the universe

Ha. I wonder what Spurtacular thinks it is. He seems a bit unclear on the concept.

Something to do with the dark web and the deep state. It just sounds cool.
