What's not to like? War and the threat of war tend to strengthen the hand of the executive.

Team Chaos gonna ramp up the chaos.

looks like it's gonna happen:

never Trumper Tom Nichols walks us through the strategic environment, it's more nuanced than the headline:

Trash is totally lost, ignorant of geopolitics now and its Cold War history, and sucking Pootin's dick every day.

This, nuclear war, is what Repugs/Trash cult base voted for, right?

Trash has no idea of what he is doing.

Called dat shit :tu

Us has been planning to quit the INF for years btw. They have lost total control of world via their conventional army. So all they have is to resort to throwing money at missiles to regain supremacy. Especially since china and russia are 10+ years ahead in supersonic technology

Tighten those nuclear buttckos niggas

US was restricted by INF while INF didn't even apply to China which gave China an advantage according to many which may be the real reason US wanted out.

Winehole's article has an expert claiming this:

They are doing this, however, not because they are strong, but because they are weak. The Russians, ironically, are now in the position NATO was in during the Cold War, a conventionally inferior power whose only equalizer is nuclear weapons.

Please show your legitimate expert saying otherwise unless you personally monitor conventional capability.
Thanks for playing.

Hater, How much more bullshit are you going to put up today?

They have lost total control of world via their conventional army. So all they have is to resort to throwing money at missiles to regain supremacy.

So you are writing about the Russians in this sentence?

Sure. But a renegotiation was the correct and sane option. Especially since Russia was willing partner to include china in the treaty.

US did not want to renegotiate their goal was to quit the treaty.

This is because they are way behind in missile technology and US conventional army is not sufficient for world domination anymore. We wasted about 2 trillion dollars in the pathetic f35s that cant even compete with cesnas :lol Our carriers are now nothing moree than floating bathtubs

US wants to regain total world domination by pouring bilions to missile technology. Sadly our hunger to keep domination is taking us to the brink.

Yeah, but China had no incentive to join as long as we were committed to staying in INF without China in it.

Also, the F-35 is actually doing much better these days. Just last month Belgium, which was under huge pressure by France and others to buy European made planes, ended up buying the F-35s for their air power modernization.

“China had no incentive” of course USA said that with no proof. China never said they didnt want to negotiate. USA assumed it but in tuth they never planned to invite china to talks because the end goal was to get out of the treaty altogether

What's the incentive for China to join if we were committed to staying in the treaty without them?

Nobody wants an arms race. I doubt they wanted one with US simce US has vastly more defense budget.

US wanted the arms race and got it. They have almost unlimited funds so it will be tough for china now. They would have prefered a deal

Just because some parties are not playing by the rules isn't a sufficient reason to ditch the rules.
