...to watch. Not saying the lEast is the better conference, of course not. But the Kawhi-led Raptors*, the Celts with Kyrie, Tatum and Horford, the Pacers and now the star-studded Sixers, will prove to be some quality 2nd round series'. Meanwhile, the West will be a sh*t show outside the Dubs, who will steam roll everyone into the finals again. And 3-peat.

*if Kawhi, by some miracle, manages to not get hurt again by May 2019

West is stacked 10-11 deep with playoff teams but the talent gap between the conference's top seed and second seed is insurmountable. There isn't even a clear answer to who the undisputed second seed in the west is and this situation will likely remain in flux well into March. Meanwhile, transplant the Toronto Raptors, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics into the western standings and those three teams would clearly secure seeds 2 to 4, with the Raptors and Bucks giving the Warriors a run for overall top seed.

Philly and Indiana would also remain playoff teams in the west. After those five teams however, the lEastern talent drop-off rears up again.

First time I can remember at any point this century that the East is clearly better than the west. Golden State is obviously #1 but 2-5 are all Eastern conference teams. They are also the only NBA teams that can push the Warriors to 6 or 7 games.

Nugs and Jizz are still ok. And Portland seems to always be ok with DAME DOLLA WHAT TIME IS IT

...to watch. Not saying the lEast is the better conference, of course not. But the Lowry-led Raptors plus Kawhi as best player*, the Celts with Kyrie, Tatum and Horford, the Pacers and now the star-studded Sixers, will prove to be some quality 2nd round series'. Meanwhile, the West will be a sh*t show outside the Dubs, who will steam roll everyone into the finals again. And 3-peat.

Fixed that for you. Anyone paying attention will know that Kawhi still hasn't really learned to fit in and that Lowry is having his own MVP level impact on the team. The team is used to an ISO minded player so letting Kawhi do his thing sort of comes easy, and he's putting up career numbers already, but he's playing at maybe 70% and as ridiculous as it sounds, the team too is probably only playing at 70% considering the injuries and games missed have hampered the chemistry building, along with Nurse still implementing his concepts a bit at a time.

Gonna be fun if they ever start firing on all cylinders.
