Easily one of the most overrated players in the league. Can't wait to see GS disband and Donkey exposed as the bum that he is.

Draymond is the Struggle Wilson of the NBA: a role player who got lucky to be drafted by a generationally stacked team. Dude would be playing with Jimmer in China by now if a team like Orlando drafted him instead.

I hear ya ... but now he is "made". he has the support of steph, KD, Klay Kerr, West and even Lebron
He can stink it up and keep deteriorating on offense but as long as me makes steals blocks a few shots and yells ...he will be a "borderline all-star".
he is going make near max dollars

I like dryamond but his offense has gotten worse and its not all because they added KD ... he cant his 3's anymore and can only drive on lazy close-outs and post up smaller guys on switches which he then flexes after overpowering little guys and screams AND one!!! everytime. I stil like him but I think another near max deal will prove to be foolish for most teams, even state but that is the only team it would make sense for most likelly.

Green repeatedly called Durant "a bitch" after he was called out by the two-time NBA Finals MVP in the huddle for not passing him the ball, sources said. The organization is of the belief that Green cut too deep in his disagreement with Durant, sources said.

Of all the people Kerr is probably know best how to deal with a situation like this. Jordan punched him and he fought back. In the process Jordan learned not to pick on him and perhaps had a little respect for him. And now green, who is way down the warriors totem pole compared to Durant called him a name and he needed teammates and the entire organization to coddle him?

That is why Durant will never be respected around the league no matter what he accomplished.

Reminds me of the Lakers in 2001.

Even when the Lakers won easily in '01 I still felt Kobe-Shaq hated each other just that they put their differences aside to win. I didn't believe they were going to last long term and the moment whenever they got dethroned they were going to go at each others throats. If Malone and Payton didn't sign with the Lakers in the summer of '03 I'm convinced they would have imploded earlier before the '04 finals. The Warriors just like the Lakers will eventually implode whenever they are dethroned. Long term I can't see Draymond being in a Warriors jersey 3-4 years from now.

:lol no

There's one KD in the league. The league has several good defenders. Donkey is a good defender but he's not really a 2 way player, not by much. The insane amount of otherworldly talent on that roster on the offensive end means Green gets wide open looks and 1st year DeJuan Blair level attention from the defense.

They would just need to bring someone in who didn't even need to shoot the ball, a true big with some defensive ability. What's Dedmon up to these days?

It's not the Warriors or anything else, the league has simply moved to all-out-offense... you're not allowed to defend in even terms anymore. You take one of the top 3 offensive players in the game right now, period.

I don’t like Green but I don’t think some people understand his value in that team. Their ability to run a small ball effectively and his value defensively is unfairly diminished. He literally needs to run his mouth because he dictates most defensive sets.

Also worth noting is how Green took a huge financial sacrifice which allowed GS to go after another high profile free agent.

That's just narrative. In reality, Green is a sensitive drama queen that often does more harm than good to his own team. He's a fake tough guy in a league that doesn't allow real defense anymore.

You don't win a threepeat without some drama. Shaq and Kobe had drama, Mike had drama with his teammates. The Spurs ran Rodman off because he was a drama queen and something between him and Robinson, but he was really important to the Bulls. If KD demands they trade Green, he's choosing placid environment over winning. He could have that anywhere.

Former Warriors have said Draymond frequently fights with Klay in practice too, and since G.S. can't afford to pay four max contracts, they'll have to make a decision at some point. Trading Green makes the most sense-- he has another year left on his contract and could actually bring back some young inexpensive talent in return. I think Green gets too much of a pass for being the guy who ruined a 73 win season by stupidly picking up four flagrant fouls in the playoffs and getting suspended. That might be the single greatest example of "bad Teammate" in the history of the NBA.

Draymond Green immediately took exception with the way Kevin Durant addressed him when he brought the ball up the court himself instead of passing to Durant.
According to multiple sources, Green made it clear that he's been making plays like that for years and then reminded Durant that the Golden State Warriors were winning before he signed there in 2016.
Green then accused Durant of making the whole season about him even though he might leave in free agency in 2019. Green aired his frustrations with how Durant has kept his free agency story alive throughout the season.

Green also called Durant a "bitch" multiple times, which is what prompted management to take action.

Bob Myers and Steve Kerr met with Green on Tuesday morning to inform him of the suspension. Green was surprised by the decision. When Green went after Kerr at halftime of a game in 15-16 in Oklahoma City, he was fined a few thousand dollars. Green didn't think the Durant incident was as bad as the one with Kerr.
Green has more of an issue with the message it sends than the money.
According to several in the locker room, Durant could have ended the situation by saying how much he loves playing with the Warriors and his teammates. Durant's teammates are all prepared for him to leave and they're not on board for another tour of begging him to stay.
“With what was said, there is already no way Durant is coming back,” one player said. “The only hope is that they can say this summer, ‘See, KD. We’ve got your back. We protected you from Draymond.’ ”

Green going to be hurt over this, probably make a coy media apology and admit fault but then undermine Durant

This is very good, hope it destroys the team. I was wrong, Green does belong.

Leonard to Warriors if Green leaves.

:lol There you go switching your stories around (You claimed them to be a lock for a 3-peat). Green isn’t a free agent until 2020. Warriors won’t have the money to get Leonard this Summer either. They will have to max out Klay and Durant isn’t staying. The Warriors will be on the decline.

Mike D’Antioni and James Harden nearly eliminated the Warriors last May. The Warriors time is up. People fail to see the trends that these teams have.

2002/2010 Lakers- Pushed 7 by the Kings/Celts...HUMILATED the next year.
2013 Heat- Pushed to 7 by the Spurs- Same result.

Warriors are on that same exact path. Once you bleed, your time on top is just about over.

LeBrat is probably using his buddy Gaymond as a Trojan-horse to sabotage the Duds. Won't be surprise if there is a trade involving Donkey/Ingram.
