Seems like the talk is really heating up in Europe about an EU Army... EU insists it's a complement to NATO but many think it would create frictions with it.

Should there be a new NATO with just US, UK, Canada, Norway and Iceland (which doesn't have an army but is part of NATO thanks in large part to it's strategic location)?

I tend to question how this EU army would operate. Will it "help save" refugees in the Mediterranean? Will it threaten "fascist" Poland and Hungary?

I'm sure the US Generals want to maintain the military hegemony in Western Europe and are vehemently against Trash's loose lips bullshit in support of Pootin's geopolitics.

Generals killed Trash's parade by inflating the price to $100M, and will subvert as much as possible whatever Trash wants.

The fake-news so-called hair is Trash's problem.

Imagine what Trash's hair would look like standing next to BFF Pootin.

I still have a hard time believing France and the UK are ok with letting Germany go back to having its own army.

Germany has had an army for decades

Hilariously, a European army is exactly what Trump has been advocating...that Europe spend the money to protect itself instead of the US doing it.

It has one... a mostly underfunded one according to many.

He has not been advocating for that. He has been advocating for the NATO members to spend more on their own national armies -- not to create a new continental army for "interventions".

You realize there is no "NATO army" right? Just like there wouldn't be a "European army".

Yes, I realize that.

Just like there wouldn't be a "European army".

They haven't really spelled out the specifics, but it would either be a mulitnational coalition under the control of the European Union or it would actually be a "European Army". Go read what they're saying.

"We should work on a vision of one day establishing a real, true European army" -Angela Merkel (today at the EU Parliament)
