McCoy
comp % 60.2
TD/INT 27/23
passer rating 79.1
The Redskins 197/198 points scored/given up, Cowboys 203/190...no real anything there.
Last season the Skins lost in Dallas 38 14.
So we have the Cowboys at home with the better QB, better D in a must win situation. The boys got this one.
Washington Redskins (6-4) at Dallas Cowboys (5-5)
Thursday, 4:30 p.m., Fox
There will be great nostalgia for the last time Colt McCoy started in this building, a lights-out performance as a fill-in back in 2014; McCoy, of course, is also a Texas college legend. If that moves Washington enough to overcome the increasing odds against them in this, it would be memorable.
But the odds are long. The Cowboys are not looking like world-beaters lately, but after wins over the Eagles and Falcons and the production of Ezekiel Elliott (273 combined rushing yards, 388 total yards), they bring plenty to this game.
Prediction: Cowboys, 29-23
PLAYOFF PICTURE: Cowboys have new life (http://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/nfl-playoff-picture-seeding-standings-cowboys-chargers-ravens/1k4tm083q43mk1t0v17ucwdfj4)

Bears won without Bisky, proving that their defense and luck is the face of their team and Bisky is mediocre at best. The Bears might win that division, but they don't have a chance to get past the divisional round at all.

Yeah no shit. No team has a real shot at getting past either New Orleans or LA in the divisional round. Green bay would play it close but lose to either team. Carolina/Chicago would get run out of the building. Cowboys would get mercy ruled and The Bot would short circuit trying to keep up with McVay/Payton

Green Bay isn't making the playoffs (too many losses/tiebreaker losses), so that's that.
But nobody thought anyone had a chance against the record 2011 Packers juggernaut offense, or even the Saints that year, and both got beat before the championship game.

Brees picked... not gonna beat that Nick Foles record after all, huh
Brees is good because he's accurate, but he has to be among the most predictable "good" quarterbacks ever...
- "Yellow 80" = changing something at the line of scrimmage, defense can rest for now
- "Blue 80" = I'm going to hike it like right now, so defense better get your asses ready... HIKE!
Aaron Rodgers is more like... "green 19, hut, blue 58, over, under, ready, GO! *D-lineman jumps offsides* GO!" .. HIKE! And gets a free play or a free 5 yards.

Julio Jones should go down as the wide receiver GOAT tbh. He realistically should get 15+ catches, 200 yds, and 2 TDs every freaking game, but Matt Ryan is such a shitty quarterback that he misses badly on easy ass throws and takes a ton of unnecessary sacks.

It's not about the score. His stats look fine on paper but he clearly doesn't trust his arm the way he used to. He's taking too long to get rid of the ball and isn't throwing into tight windows he had no problem with two years ago.

He's still the best west coast thrower in the league. Their roster isn't really designed to go deep anyways. Except Gordon, I guess. But I don't think Gordon is a net positive for the offense, never did.
It's November... just like the Buffalo MNF game, Brady knows he can dick around all game and still win because the Jets offense is garbage. The only game that Brady will really actually have to try is at Pittsburgh next month. Pittsburgh is smoking hot.

Foles was named MVP, but the real MVP of the Super Bowl was that offensive line. Zero sacks allowed, only 2 total hurries (both by old-ass James Harrison, lol), and 7 yards per carry on the ground.
I don't think their OL has really fallen apart, it's just not as godly as it was last year. Wentz is clearly still rusty, though. It shows at times. And yes, their secondary is depleted all the way down to the bone (literally every good to decent player except Jenkins) but they still have a great front 7 intact so that's still baffling.

Liking what Jackson is doing so far. He came into the game determined to show he can win without his legs, and he didn't really do that. But lucky for him that he has his legs, and he doesn't have to scramble all the time to leverage them properly. Just the threat of him pulling it down or keeping the ball on a read-option opens things up for the tight ends and running backs. He ran for 70 yards but only took one bad shot. He's not where he needs to be to be a true starter for a contending team, but he's learning at a fast pace right now. The team just needs to be patient with him and continue to build around his skill-set and limitations.
Also loved to see Suggs find his way into the end zone for the first time in a while. Amazing what he still seems to have in the tank after 15 years in the league.

Wrong. Panthers were about to go up by 10 and probably win the game at that point. Instead, Cum’s interception kept it as a 1 score game and the Seahawks wound up scoring.

That stuff doesn't seem to be working this year; defenses have caught on. Just take your chances on getting a few yards on few carries ffs.

This Broncos team shouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs, what a pathetic race:lol
We seriously could be 2013 again in that all 3 teams make the playoffs from the division... with the Broncos and Chargers positions reversed, of course. Remember how the Chargers came back from the dead (3-6 I believe) to sneak in that year at 9-7.
Broncos next 4 are against Cincy, Oakland, the Browns, and 49ers... before finishing at LA. So, could they finish 9-7 which could be enough to get that 6 seed.

Packers at Vikings right now is a MUST WIN for both teams. The loser is (not mathematically, but realistically) OUT of the 2018 playoff race.
Big game for Aaron Rodgers' legacy, tbh... for Cousins, it's less important, he doesn't really have a legacy but he's already got his 90 million... lol

Bailey is straight garbage. Cowboys definitely struck gold by cutting him and that ghastly contract.

Rodgers now without the best pass protecting tackle in the league. GOAT will need to do GOAT things to keep his team alive tonight in this hostile environment up against everything.

Packers should've went for it on 4th and 1 there. Puts more pressure on Vikes and you don't want to have to score the TD in the last ten seconds or whatever. Terrible by both teams.

Haven't seen it as much in the past few years, but I remember when The Bot loved to waste downs near the goalline attempting back shoulder fades to Martellus Bennett/Gavin Escobar. It's like he had a fetish for getting one of those guys a TD so he could pretend that he was "utilizing everyone to their strengths" despite the fact they must've been 0-30 on that play

alex smith is no worldbeater but mccoy has limited them even further
Not sure how that guy made it this long. He must be a good locker room guy; that or his legacy at Texas just took him a long way.
