Oh, boy those are big words, for someone that hasn't played well or ever was that dominant.

What the fuck is there to learn? Get out of the way if DeMar is trying to score, and when you are open actually hit your jumpers and do the one thing you're supposed to be good at.

This, make your long jumpers and be productive on Offense.

What really bugs me about LA is that he makes excuses.

He struggles this year, oh we are still figuring out how to play with DeMar.

He struggled in his first two years; it was Pop that tried to change him.

In Portland; it was Damian Lillard... blah blah.

In retrospect, LA is worst than Dick because we got rid of Dick sooner than later.

The guy keeps making excuses and refuses to change even though the game has changed dramatically.

Pop, Timmy, Manu and Tony have all adapted and transformed their games to stay competitive. With LA he refuses to change, thus Spurs have to play old school basketball.

To be fair, RJ only stated at the time that he was learning the system and how to fit in his role. It was only years later that he said he was dealing with nagging back problems and personal issues. LMA has a new excuse every year. :lol

If Aldridge were actually good and dependable, this would be a strong team, even with a shitty-ass bench with crap like Bertans on it. LMA and DDR is a serious 1-2 punch. But, fuck, man, how can Aldridge struggle learning how to exist with other players so much? Holy fuck.

Spur fan is trashing the best or maybe 2nd best player the spurs have.

Hopefully Derozan continues being an all star then both can keep the spurs above water.

Don't get the Aldridge hate at all. Timmy, Tony, Manu, Kawhi - are gone - this is as good as the spurs will get - learn to live with it.

The thing is, you don't want to be just as good as this for more than a year.

You should be either contending or losing and getting picks/making chnages to get better.

Mediocrity is a no-no.

Well of course - but remember;

When LA was a free agent he was THE free agent to get and the Spurs competed and got him.
Every spur fan was happy.

Right now who are they going to get or trade for that is better?

I wished they would have dangled Kawhi before the draft and gotten a top 5 pick at least but they didn't and part of that reason was because Kawhi fucked the spurs and they had no more leverage.

Why is everyone in a panic after 20 games?

No one panics after 20 games, I have always said LA should go.

Giving Kawhi up for a draft pick would be silly unless you get Doncic but again hindsight is 20/20 and still, we don't know that Doncic will be better than DeMar, and who knows maybe Lonnie proves to be as good as anyone we could have drafted.

So true, hopefully, he takes the ball to the basket more often. Like he did today vs the Bulls in a couple of occasions.

what surprises me is why is there no 2-man game evolving? It was the same with him and Kawhi. DeRozan looks like the better fit, but yet they still haven't developed to be a 1-2 punch. Is Pop not giving them instructions?

It drives me insane. And his body is big enough to back down the majority of today's candy-ass big men. Aldridge is such a waste and a little bit of a dumbass, honestly.

Why is this man shooting turnaround jumpers on every play? Why shoot jumpers at all besides a pick and pop?

Waste of size simply because he can't strategize well enough to take advantage.

It's like he always wanted to be an oversized 2-guard with no mobility. Absolutely infuriating.

he doesn't do it because he's stupid, he does it because he's lazy..

guys like aldridge, with his talent and size, probably didn't ever have to work insanely hard to be competitive. banging down low, that shit gets tiring. it's hard work, and lma can work as hard as anyone, but he doesn't like to do it very often.

i do think there's something to the rumors that he struggles to play with other stars...

It has been LA's move since he was playing in school. If you watch his old clips before he was in the NBA, he was shooting midrange jumbers since then. I dont think hes going to be more aggressive now because that's what worked for him before

It's time to just trade the guy and get a team player who can play under pressure and wants to win a championship. With the salaries we're paying LMA and Gasol out of the way we can dream big.:makemyday

If people remember, when LMA came here he explicitly stated he did not want to play center. The Spurs agreed to that when they signed him.

Now, with the injuries and the roster situation, where is he? Playing center.

So it goes.

Dude bullies big guys then shoots bad jumpers over James Harden.

It's frustrating because he's very fun to watch when he's on.
