There's some fans/analysts that are going really far with his projections.

Crazy how he doesn’t get enough recognition. If this dude played for Ny La Boston. He would get exposure like a mofo. Another guy balling like an animal is Harrel from the clips. That dude is a dog.

Great pick by the Bears. Kyle with more spring in his step and some aggression.

JJ Jr is very awkward in his movements though. He’s almost like a modern day mutombo in some sense. Once teams figure out his offensive limitations he would be a defensive anchor.

People forget mutombo was actually an offensive force for the first few months of his careers and the league adjusted.

He was my favorite player in this draft class. Him being with Memphis is a great thing for his game and their win loss record. He fits perfectly beside Gasol and hopefully he can get stronger without hurting his quickness.

I don't think he's a go to guy but damn this kid is solid. He's already a top contributor on the league. He has elite role playing skills. Like a rich man Robert Horry or Pistons' Rasheed Wallace.

He just 19 tbh. And he literally just turned 19 was 18 when drafted. Already looks like a player and is getting better just as you watch him. Rook moments are there but less than b4... and so are surprising good moments.

Don’t know Mutombo, but the young man can shoot and is skilled at the rim with either hand and he can take other bigs off the dribble had a few drives against other bigs, one against DeAndre Jordan another against Greek Freak. I have watched him enough to be excited. He’s barely learning what he can do too.

I don’t know why I am watching so much Spurs. I keep hoping they turn things around I guess, but the Grizzlies are truly interesting. This guy is really a lot better than I thought.

A common comparison is Chris Bosh but I only know the Bosh from the heat not the Raptors Bosh. He’s still developing though so who knows?

I might have to cheat on Kyle with Jaren, tbh.

agreed on both ... Liek harrel in college and at ghouston but he is even better than I thought ...

36 pts for Jaren to 6 for Kyle tonight. Guys, I'm really struggling with this....

he benefits or actually the team benefits when they have a low offensive usage in anderson that wont take shots...

then again the grizz atm plays the slowest pace this season

he is as advertised, great fucking class as expected. His success will ultimately depend on how he adjusts to playing solid D. Most defensive centers become busts strictly because they can't help themselves but go for the block with bad positioning. If he can keep his D without fouling, he'll be very successful, otherwise he'll go the way of the odens and thabeets..

Has to learn to limit his fouling but he's just 19...
