There's a reason PATFO gave Patty 50 Mills, and it's certainly not because of his ability on the basketball court. They paid him so that Pop-a-cork & Drunkford can play boozesketball all season and leave the leadership and morale-boosting responsibilities to everyone's favorite towel-waving Aussie.
Right now spirits are low, body language is bad, players' and fans' faith in "the Spur System" is at an all time low, and Patty gets to be Pop's chosen leader for this mess. 50 Mills well earned, tbh.
