Caught bits of a discussion about the Spurs. Discussed losing defensive pieces from last year, how defensive is worse with LMA on the floor. Spurs in a quandary in terms of blow it up or try and push forward (optimist team is 2 games out of play offs, 1 game under .500, or pessimist - Spurs losing big now, etc).

Last year team over achieved until Kwahi drama started in January, then team fell apart.

All these sports networks and stations that have hated the Spurs all this time are loving every minute of our struggles now, tbh.

LMA regularly plays against the starting line ups and his usual teammates are Forbes, Derozan, Gay, Bertans. 2nd half he gets the privilege of playing with Belli and Mills more as well. LMA is up and down this season but defensively he is no where near our worst defender.

LMA isn't a leader, he's the teams biggest problem imo. I bet the spurs would go on a mini win streak and make the playoffs if they move him.

Was David Griffin speaking, feel like he's fairly objective.

Our point differential must be embarrasing and Im not even looking at it

That uust tells you this team doesn not deserve a playoff spot but angood lottery pick

A very good one

Last time I saw it was like -5 points, good for about 2nd last in the conference or something

Utah had a guard off the bench (don't even know his name), but he would challenge the ball handler every single time. That's where is starts. Ball pressure to delay the offensive sets/ball movement. DJM was doing some of that last year. The team does not have that aspect now.

I would try and move LMA or DeRozan at the trade deadline for a legit package. Both players are under contract this year and next. By the time younger guys are ready to go, the two former all stars will be looking to get paid - a lot.

:pop: we're actually getting ready offer DeMar a max extension this offseason.
