Nicely done OP.
Retro breath of fresh air.

Especially given current state of
:lol NBA
:lol Spurs without an MVP to lead them.

Tim, please come back. Your team needs you. Your fans need you. The whole world needs you. LMA is so lost out there. You should be making both LMA and Pau Gasol's salaries.

I'm glad timmy played in a slow era. Easily top 5 all time, but i dont know how his knees would hold up in modern NBA. Specificlly the 08 and later TD

That and with knee braces. I wonder how much more dominant without the brace?

If we could just draft a Tim Duncan and David Robinson again this season, we could make it to the WCF next year.

Man I miss Timmy so bad. Like no other athlete or team I’ve ever followed.. even seeing highlights of 13 and 14 brings back memories of how amazed I was that they were able to climb the mountain in the twilight of Manu and Timmy’s careers one last time. A couple of old school legends schooling the league of young up and comers.. there will never be anyone that comes close to how much of a steadying influence he was on the team, he wanted to win as much as the most hardcore Spur fan out there and to top it off he was the most original, awesome personality that marched to the beat of his own drum and didn’t give a fuck what people thought.. *sigh* I’m off to YouTube some more Timmy

We can't blame LMA there, Timmy is the GOAT PF, set the standard that high is not fair for him.

But man, I miss Timmy so much.

That left knee gave out in 08 thanks to arthritis, which was all set up by the torn meniscus he suffered in 2000. Sports medicine has evolved a lot since then, and nowadays he would've never had the knee operated on. His knee would've held up better in the modern day. All a guessing game though.

Not sure how great Timmy would be without the injury in 2000, probably will be the GOAT...
