"His career Wins Above Replacement total (Baseball-Reference version) was a mere 38.7, placing him alongside hitters like Paul O’Neill, Ray Lankford, and Steve Garvey."

This makes no sense :lol
Very good player, but nowhere close to HoF worthy.

He’s clearly not deserving, but the current arbitrary benchmarks are outdated, especially with the steroid era throwing everything out of whack.

off the top of my head - Sheffield, Andruw Jones and McGriff better

Mussina over Schilling?
Not only would I put Curt above the 'Moose', I'd even put him completely on a tier level above.
MLB Hall of Fame losing credibility

Agreed. Curt was arguably the best playoff starter in the game during his runs the DBacks and Sox. MLB should be above blackballing players for their political views. He'll get in on the next ballot, though. And Harold Baines still makes no fuckin' sense :lol

At this point I think Andruw Jones deserves in. McGriff just short.
