Nets: Kidd leaves with sore left leg

Nets guard Jason Kidd had nine points and six rebounds in 23 minutes against the Celtics Tuesday, but he left the game in the third quarter with a sore left leg and didn't return, according to the Associated Press. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.

Once we know the extent of Kidd's injury, we'll be sure to update fantasy owners. Our gut reaction, however, is this probably isn't a serious injury and it shouldn't affect his status for opening night. But we're not doctors here.
