Need this during the tough times.
Everything is beautiful.
The team, the basketball, the grace, the brotherhood. Seeing the team accept the trophy, and then seeing the team MUG #2 after his MVP selection - Gosh I just miss those days. Everyone was so friggin' happy.

Compared to now it was loaded. Not necessarily with stars as our big 3 were all pretty old. But it was the greatest mixture of complimentary role players I’ve ever witnessed. What one guy lacked, the other guy had. We had no redundancy on that roster. And jackass had just come into his won too. Truly amazing. I would straight faced say they were a top 5 team all time.

Such a legendary team. The leading scorer only averaged 16.7 points per game, six guys averaged double figures, nine players averaged over 8 ppg, and not a single player averaged 30 mpg over the course of the season.

May have been the most unique NBA championship team ever.
Not a single top ten pick under the age of 35 (Try and find a title team with less than two Loterry picks in their prime).
Relied heavily on players who had been waived by oother teams (DG, Patty, and Bobo)
Also not way over the cap salary wise. Since 2007 Spurs all title teams, except the GSW (2015) have been way into the luxury tax. The one that wasn't was of course heaeded there
