But, here's the thing, If the Texans end up #3 and lose in the wildcard round to the #6 seed, the AFC West winner will NOT be playing the AFC West loser, this isn't like the NBA where it's by bracket.

It's by seed in the NFL, so if the Texans lose in the wildcard round, the AFC West winner will play the #6 seed, and the #2 seed (Patriots?) will play the AFC West loser at Foxborough. Patriots should root for the Chargers to win the AFC West because the Chargers are better away than home while the Chiefs obviously have the fortress at home. An ideal scenario for NE at this point is to play KC at home and then LAC on the road where Patriots fans should represent >30% of the stadium.


Still, the most likely case is that the AFC Super Bowl representative will once again come out of the AFC West.

That's a long drive, but I-10 is kind of neat and not too hot this time of year. Went for Black Friday 2009 with my mom on the way back from seeing my grandfather who was a couple years from dying of Alzheimer's in the VA hospital in Jackson, MS.

I was 15 and a half years old at the time and the Saints were 9-0... if I remember correct, the Favre Vikings were too. Got to walk around Bourbon Street and eat fried oysters with Crystal louisiana hot sauce and cocktail sauce. Fried oysters are the food of the gods, tbh. I love jambalaya normally but at the restaurant we went to, it was just okay. The chicken gumbo was mediocre. I didn't like the etoufee. And the "boudin" just about made me puke.
