Right now people there are thinking its tony now, or tony in the future. I think those are the closest to the truth.
Tony is going to be a top 5 player at his position, possibly top 10 this year. If he gets 20 and 7, which is very possible if we go to 1/3 or less half court post initiated offense, he is there.
Manu is top 10 at his postion now, but is already in his prime. He has another 3-6 prime years, and then his production will decrease. (perfect timing for his current contract!)
Tony will most likely continue to improve for another 3 years, with another 5-7 years of prime play! (uh oh! His next contract after this one will be super-rich as well. If he gets 6 years on this one, he will be 28!)
Tony's only downfall is his reliance on his superior speed. Manu's strengths are his unorthadox style, quickness, and determination. When his quickness leaves around 33'ish, he will be able to adjust his game more easily than Parker, who is much better at using speed to get open or get to the basket. No hurry, though, he has 10 years to use his speed!
