It's just a rumor.

The fact that Orlando doesn't even want him tells you all you need to know. No.

He's having the worse season of his career. Worse than the Gleague. It's possible this season is wasted bc of his wrist injury that he might still be recovering from. He's no star but he wasn't this bad. I think the Magic are looking for PG help.

You have a point, but it's fucking retarded ass Orlando here, aka glorified farm system for other teams.. all they do is supply other teams with players while never getting any better themselves

you try to get Terrence Ross. Magic need a PG so Mills and Cunningham for Ross would be a dream scenario. I'd take last years Simmons back, but the wrist injury has really messed up his shot, so pass.

Eh, pass. Advanced stats have always hated Simmons but he's at a new level of bad this season. His RPM is 442 out of the 455 players in the league. His offense-only RPM is even worse: 453 out of 455. That's down there with the likes of Frank Ntilikina (448), Kyle Anderson (449) and Avery Bradley (455). Simmons' best attribute was his athleticism and at 29, his best days are behind him. On top of that, his shooting this season has been trash (probably can blame it at least partly on his wrist injury -- but trash nonetheless). The cherry on top is that his escape from San Antonio wasn't exactly pretty -- so I wouldn't even want the Spurs to bring him back from useless expirings, tbh.

That said, after typing that out, I fully expect him to go for 30, 10 and 10 tonight.

Obviously not. He's virtually the antithesis of what this team needs.

According to Sam Amick, Spurs are one of the teams interested in Ross. Expiring contract, sub par defender, minus the length or strength to defend big wings. Unless they'd do it for Belinelli and Forbes (which is unlikely), I'd have no interest.

When was the last time Sam Amick got something right? His wife is probably a man.

They also might be willing to move Terrence Ross. Give me Ross instead.

No way on Simmons. Lonnie Walker IV is far better than Simmons. Jonathon made his decision and by doing so he screwed up. End of story!

I guess this is why I'm not a big fan of stats -counting/advanced/whatever-...On my team, I'd love to have Bradley, Kyle Anderson and Jonathon Simmons. On the bench but with larger role than they had before on the Spurs

I liked his athleticism and nose on defense. Again another case of Spurs knowing the extent of a player’s potential. Then again he would potentially be taking Walker’s minutes. Simmons is not really a 3nD without a consistent 3, and too short to be guarding SF/PF. Spurs are starting to click and maybe would wait for Lonnie/Huestis and even Moore.

Of the bottom 10, I'd want Josh Jackson. Think he's waisting away in Phoenix. Doesn't fit with that team and not getting developed properly.

2002... he comes off the bench, seldom plays, but is a playmaker when he does play

2003... gets a lot of PT, turns into a diva, plays well for the most part, still has gaffes on the court, Spurs let him walk

I kind of think Danny did need fresh scenery. I always liked him, even when he somehow forgot how to shoot and even though he couldn't dribble the basketball or finish a layup, because he was a solid defender that gave good effort and he was a team glue guy. But he is playing much better in Toronto than he played the last few years in San Antonio.
