True but it looks like Pop is determined not to play him this season, tbh.
I think it looks more like he wants him to get into game shape and learn the system quickly. That injury just came at a really shitty time

Gasol is going to ruin this shit :lol
Nothing like an already slow footed, old player coming from a foot injury in today’s NBA.
.
Thanks for stereotyping low post-count posters as sock puppets bearing only insincere opinions to hurt your feelings. I missed this appeal of posting on nameboards again.

Except for an already slow footed, old player coming from a foot injury that an old-school coach is absolutely determined to shoehorn into a rotation that is starting to play pretty well.

Another team under 1000
Not that impressive. Under 1000?? :downspin: No seriously, I do not care about the opponent or injuries, holding 7 teams in a row under 100 points in this NBA environment is damn impressive!!

Just hard to fathom that undrafted guys and 2nd rounders are given shots to play right off the bat but not the highest 1st round pick we've had after TD.

From what people said (can't remember, a couple beat writers tho), it seemed like he was gonna play with the team, but the injury set things back. He lost valuable time, so just hoping he is getting caught up and up to speed for a month or so , then can start joining the team.
We're almost at a month now, so hopefully we hear something soon. hope he dominates so he can come up to the big leagues

Gasol + Cunningham + Forbes for Beal

Hope you're right. I really don't want PATFO to think they can stand pat just because of this recent turnaround.

Not to put a damper on our winning streak, but we've been incredibly lucky with the timing of our opponents' injures.
Played Orlando without Vucevic. Played Minnesota without Teague. ANnd tomorrow, we're playing Houston without Paul.
We’ve been playing without Murray all year though

Yeah that part worries me too, especially with Marco turning it around lately. But hopefully he'll get called up soon. Feels like he should be dominating in the g league, hoping he's still getting into a rhythm

Man what a turnaround this team has made defensively. It's incredible.
11 straight games of having teams score over 100 to 7 straight games of teams scoring under 100. How does that even happen?

Their defensive strategy is different, they switch everything. And oddly enough mills does a solid job defending a posting big

I don’t think there’s any reason why this team shouldn’t be able to finish as a top 4 seed and have a rematch with the Warriors in the second round.

I'm honestly blown away by how this team has suddenly turned things around the way they have. It's nuts.

Just like 'magic'.
Early in a season, younger teams have a lot more energy and can beat you on athletic talent.
Now the team has gelled, and know how to play together. The younger teams haven't improved their plays and are running out of gas.
Spurs are now blowing out teams as if they are a contender.
Let's see how they do against the elite teams.

Couldn't watch the game but I just watched the replay. Can anybody tell me why the refs always gift the Wolves 20-30 freethrows off ghost fouls? Like this shit happens in every game we play against them, especially home games

No way they win 50. They have already lost too much too early. They should go 32-17 the rest of the way, with one of the toughest remaining schedules.

But I thought they sucked and when it looked like they were tanking we couldn't even call it tanking because they just plain sucked? You posters know who you are. Sky was falling and trade everybody. Where these posters at? They got quiet all the sudden. Like I said this team isn't good enough to trophy, but if they can add a couple of pieces then they have a shot. I'm hoping they stay around 8th seed like last year so we get some playoff action, but at the same time we also have a viable first round pick. To win you have to beat the best anyways.

17 more Ls would have them at 50 - 32.
Can they hit 50? Possible, but I don't think probable, with their currently horrendous 5-10
road record, with about 25 road games remaining.
would have to go about 17 - 8 on the road while being almost perfect at home

Pretty good chance with no Chris Paul. He's the one that always kills us.
