The ball movement and scoring is much improved from the start of the season. Its not as good as when we had multiple hall of famers and Bobo vying for titles in Miami, but i think it deserves a name, in case we get in the playoffs and start making some noise. Its not quite beautiful, but still looks pretty darn good.

Beautiful game got its name when were playing that style of basketball deep into the playoffs. If they continue this we can definitely think of a name, until then it's the spurs finding out who they are

I call it nice home stretch of games against short handed opponents/ teams on the road during the regular season. Home/ Away splits in the NBA Middle of the pact tems will have strong home stats and weak road stats.

76ers are scrubs now. You need to find a new team to cheer for.

76ers were on a back to back. Played the night before in Cleveland. It is a huge advantage in the NBA if you are at home taking on a team coming in from another city on a back to back road game.

This was a nice strecth of the schedule for the Spurs.

Overall, the Spurs are playing much better D lately. The offense is usually in a much better flow (a lull in Houston not withstanding). Poetl, Forbes, Bertans, and White (sometimes) are contributing in a generally positive way.

I don't have a name for it. This is a pretty good team right now. Not great, but good.

And what sucks is that this trend pretty much started right after the 2014 championship. That is when Kawhi became our #1 option and so Kawhiso was born.
In 2016, it was Kawhiso and LMA iso as well.
Same with 2017.
Last year, LMA iso.
This year is the first year since 2015 that we've had a semblance of ball movement. But its only in small spurts. Belinelli spurs it on a bit at times, Derrick white is good with the pass. DDR when hes not hogging in can actually be an effective passer. I think LMA is the only one that isn't a strong ball mover. Even Poeltl had some nice passes there.

A lineup of White/Belinelli/DDR/Gay/Poetlt can be a good passing one if DDR can get it in his brain that hes more effective as a distributor and can focus on being an opportunistic scorer. Stop going ISO. But a good chunk of that blame can be put on Pop.

Mills can also be included in that lineup, he sometimes can be good with the ball movement. He was part of that beautiful game in 2014.
