Still can't figure out folks who say it's hard to like this roster. This is the most fun offense the team has seen in a long time, and when they're locked in, their D is nice as well.

Because they've only played like this for around 11 games?
You forget how brutal we looked before this last month or so.
2nd best player in the nephew trade tbh

Spurs were never brutal offensively. Even before Bertans went nuclear and Beli got back, the team had Forbes playing well, Gay exploding and even Pau doing his thing. Only folks who thought the Kawhiso team was better offensively didn't see the upgrade.

Looking confident finally. Love it! Hope he continues to improve and maybe adds some read meat to his diet lol

I enjoyed watching the individual greatness of Kawhitter but this offense is definitely more fun to watch.

True offense was always there. It was just that the defense was so horrendous that it made it impossible to enjoy this offense.

Bertans improved his rebounding and defense. But he also worked on his in between game, that dribble pull up is nice

Also he gets no respect from refs he gets a lot of cheap shots from other players. Hopefully he will get invited to 3 pt contest and if he wins he will up his ref creed

Yeah, it's the most aesthetically pleasing offense since '14 and I do think it's mostly sustainable. Sure, they fell into this rotation ass backwards, both through injury and trial and error, but there's been many cases around the league where that happened and a team took off.
It's mainly the bench, who as I said would provide remnants of the beautiful game. But even the starters, at times. Like when Aldridge bullies some overmatched defender and puts him under the rim or when DeRozan isn't concerned about his scoring average and just focuses on making plays.

Weird but true
While this team may lack Star power, i have a crazy suspicion everyone enjoys player together on this roster, and they are becoming just that a serious team. Everyone on this roster if you think about it, has something to prove. Meaning Drafted late, or not drafted, came from G league, was traded, or is coming back from injury..
While i have no illusions they are wining the chip, i am starting to enjoy the ride till the end.

The team is actually playing a lot better on both ends of the floor. The Spurs continue to take guys other people passed on and turn them into good NBA players.
