Probably going to lose a lot of friends over this, but I'm so tired of being politically correct. I'm just going to say it - Happy New Year.

Are you not disturbed that what you just posted is a statement by the current President of the United States?

You should reflect on what you consider important. I would certainly hope a good number of people would be annoyed ("triggered") by this.

Both sides are now just trolls with zero interest in doing anything but trolling. If either side has any real concern over what's happening, they won't show their cards because it removes their ability to return a troll attempt. This is because there's been no immediate effect on their lives. It's just a series of opportunities to scoreboard over the opposition.

Fact is DT is the POTUS and no one we hear from on either side has any power to do anything about it, and even if they did I don't trust them either.

I don’t really understand what you’re saying. I 100% agree that the folks at the top of the Democratic Party (Pelosi / Schumer) are mostly feigning outrage and are happy to just use Trump as a way to win Congress back, but the idea that people on the left aren’t legitimately concerned about Trump is ridiculous.

His response is going to be something along the lines of “I don’t like DRUMPF and didn’t vote for him I’m just here to TRIGGER THE LIBS!”

If we could reduce the noise level and look at the actual issue and make an assessment from there, that would be beneficial. There's too much political hay to be harvested right now on both sides though so that's not going to happen. I think people on both sides are legitimately concerned just as they were with the last POTUS and the one before and so on. Compared to someone who would fabricate evidence and attack a sovereign nation, Trump is a puppy. He just doesn't know when to stop yapping.

Maybe it's: the left's outrage is equally matched by the right's under-rage - the more the outrage gets, the more underwhelming from the other side.

Trump is not ideological - he does not believe in either side's extreme idea(l)s so the harm he would do to the country will not be serious (at least not as serious as it's made out to be especially by the media). IMO, he's just going by business/common sense (not idealogical) instinct - he doesn't want to "transform" the country OR change abortion/gay rights. And everything is based from an economic standpoint (that's his bottom line) eg immigration - his is not a racial stance but an economic one (can they assimilate/contribute). I don't think he has a problem with Indian PHDs.

Do you really buy this? Really? Not ideological? Everything he does is either a gut feeling or strictly on dogma (see: unpaid for tax cuts).

Went to Top Golf - imo, it's a very good business concept - entertainment, sport, food wrapped together. 1/2 price on holidays - regular price: $25 per hour before noon, $35 between noon and 4 and $45 after 4. It's designed so that kids/adults/seniors can play. Never swung a golf club in my life but it was fun. Highly recommend for a family outing on holiday.
