The Patriots were unspectacular all year even though they were a fluke play away from 12-4 and the #1 seed.... but home field + better QB + better coach feels like enough to overcome the fact that the Chargers have (a little bit) more "talent".

You have to be able to man press and get home with 4 rushers in 3 seconds or less in order to beat Brady. Cover 2/4 loses to James White, not to mention Gronk. Cover 3 gets beat by the short stuff. The only way to beat Brady is to stop the short stuff and get home with 4. Any zone blitz gets beat by Brady, too. I don't see the Chargers doing that enough.
