Thank you for joining us. I realize that it takes some gumption to go against the inherent power so your presence is appreciated. As time passes, more people will see through the mirage and will find this oasis of smart basketball talk. We will have no gimmicks or make believe. There will be no power struggles or jealousy. Just good conversation.

Our goal is to provide a safe haven for Spurs fans and NBA fans alike. I’m confident that this place will grow and become one of the better basketball resources available. We realize that the key to any community is the people involved. So if there is anything you want changed or an idea that you have, let us know and it will be addressed.

Don't take this as bashing other sites but:

Spurscentral is an infant Spurs site... (infant = neighborhood fan site, the owners have not or don't want to market to grow)

Spurs Dominion is real cool with those fellas but low traffic at times..

WOAI is a site with major backing and Known Insight with folks like Mr. Garza, Don Harris, Chris Duel, Jeff Vexler, Etc. etc..

Fullsportpress is a site led by a Couple that can rise to the forefront of the NBA Information and Discussion!!! Also, Kori is a great interviewer and is well respected by the Spurs and fans alike... Something that other sites don't have or no longer have.

I started posting on different boards on the Internet around the time Manu came to the Spurs: first ESPN boards (total garbage), then basketballboards.net (little activity), then I found SpursReport.com and began posting there as mg06, from probably late 2003 to 2005, until things blew up there. Some time around 2005 I found this site and registered, and posted on and off, with some lurker stages and some active posting ones. 20 years have gone by since this boards are up, damn! Congrats to everyone who makes this board, from owners to posters. Nice way to celebrate! :lol
