It makes perfect sense to me. We have one star and his name is Aldridge. Derozan is spottier than a dalmatian. It takes a magnificent performance by the bench just to keep up with a good team like the Thunder, and when a budding player like White gets going, they give it back to the DDR to chuck midrange 2s. The worst part is that we know DDR an clearly play. He has multiple tools and opened his game up, but instead of facilitating at the right times and making smart plays, he goes for the vintage crossover kicking his own ball. He has the skillset to make up for his weaknesses on D and 3, but makes bad choices. Why even defend him? He's just gonna cross himself over.
