It's not just you... Great guy... But why do u think the raps always choke? He is a big reason for that... Raps fans do NOT miss this guy... But hey... LMA likes him, right? That's what's important

He definitely can... Just wait till April... The guy was benched in a must-win playoff game because of how badly he was playing... Let that soak in

Everybody has up and downs on offense during the season, but at least do the things you can control: like playing with fucking effort instead of being a big pouting baby.

He might have been good in the 80s but a wing who can’t shoot in today’s nba is a disaster.

As I've long said, most flawed star in the league and that was before he regressed from 3. I don't recall a regular season stretch this bad from him since he became a star. This isn't just a bad shooting stretch; it's as if he's forgotten how to play. He has no confidence and looks lost. It's bizarre.
I can't tell if it's more so getting used to playing with a co-1st option or pouting over the fact that he's been the 2nd option since they've gotten their act together, but he has that glazed over look, like he's either depressed or his mind is elsewhere.
At this point, he's performing well under his level from the previous 3 seasons. Most alarmingly, he's at a career high turnover rate (it's actually skyrocketed since essentially splitting PG duties with White) and a career low free throw rate. The fact that he's usually elite at both partially make up for his lack of 3-point shooting.

LMA can't play with another star... Simple as that... It's feast or famine... Either dump it down to LMA all game (a style which doesn't suit DDR's strengths), or play to your strengths and have him pout due to lower usage, despite winning...

He's probably satisfied with his revenge game against his old team and now has lost motivation

So what has been his excuse for his entire career? Isn't there a stat that said in the past five years or so, he is the worst playoff choker? Meaning more than any other player in that span his production has dropped off from regular season to playoffs?

I wonder what the reason is for that. Maybe it's cause his homie Rudy ain't playing? The most alarming thing to me is he's shooting 44% from the FT line in the last 4 games. Has to be mental

His depression bouts are well known. For the money he makes, I really do not care if he doesn't like the offense, the LMA post ups, or White becoming the second gun.
Suck it up and play like a man. Or take some time off, there is nothing wrong with that: we can certainly consider it an injury.
But if he keeps this attitude, it is going to be a locker room problem pretty soon. If it isn't yet.

Just talk to some long time raptors fans. They've likely seen this before from him.

Seeing how he was traded away the way he was for someone who might just be a one season rental and not only that but to hear people going on about how the raptors upgrade with kl and see them doing so well without him has to be affecting him mentally. Hopefully he snaps out of whatever is causing this funk he's in right now.

if anything that should motivate him even more, especially with the Spurs being the best team in the NBA in december. Being depressed doesn't make sense

Could be physical. Headache, toothache, stomachache whatever...
He dribbles like it's harder for him to concentrate. It can be both physical and psychological

At first, he was good and Aldridge sucked.
Now he sucks and Aldridge is good.
WHAT IF... <Keanu Reeves meme> ...they're both actually good, but both go through slumps??

Yeah, It's unheard of for mid 80s free throw shooters to shoot 40% under their average over a 4 game stretch. Sure, there's slumps and pro/regression to the mean, but this has the look and feel of something different and with his history of depression, it's hard not to go there.
I have no firsthand experience with it, but I know enough about it to know that anyone who thinks depression is a sign of soft/weakness, or that he should just "suck it up and perform because he's making 28+ million", is completely uneducated on the topic and therefore shouldn't be commenting on it.

For what ever reason Something happened the team was having fun and then after Raptors game it all changed. The start of the loosing streak you could tell it was tense no one was laughing or looked like they wanted to be there. I was wondering if Pop went off on some players....
