What's the point of having these "veterans" on the roster if when needed, because of injuries, they can't even give you 7 minutes of non-liability basketball? Might as well just try some of the G-leaguers out.

Poop has a hard on for washed up veteran scrubs. Always has. He thinks the spurs are some god damn welfare organization for the deaf and blind or something.

This is what I have for them and Pop playing those guys:

Wasting two roster spots with guaranteed deals for these two is just awful

Tonight these tired old scrubs combined for

18 minutes
0 points
0-1 fg
0 rebounds
0 assists
0 steals
0 blocks
1 turnover

And get clowned by Bridges the rookie

Why have 30+ year olds on year deals when they can't play?

They're not specialists hitting threes or blocking shots or locking anyone down

And they have zero energy. They get out worked, out hustled and out muscled

Pop loves giving charity wins and roster spots these days.

I can understand one of them as emergency backup but not both. Neither is an NBA player or has any upside whatsoever.

It's honestly a legit joke that Quincy Pondexter is on an NBA roster. I'd rather have Rasual Butler with that roster spot tbh.

Damn RIP though. Butler was night and day compared to these fools with his production on the court.

Put Lonnie in the lineup! These has-beens are useless.

Dexter looks old, slow, overweight. I don't get what he offers.

These two are not NBA players.

Between Pau, Sidney Deane, and Dante, Spurs just might have the worst 11th, 12th, and 13th players in the NBA.

Lonnie could run circles around all 3.

2016 - Andre Miller and Kevin Martin
2017 - Joel Anthony
2019 - Quincy Pondexter and Dante Cunningham

Pop needs these washed up scrubs every year to preserve the precious culture.

Pon and Cunningham would not be in the NBA ifnthe Spurs cut them. No team would sign these two.

them being on the roster is a disservice to the team. their roster spots should belong to young players with upside. players who could’ve created their own trade value like forbes.

Walker would be so much more entertaining at least

The argument that he is too raw is undermined by Pondexter being completely cooked beyond recognition

The worst part is that they are 10th, 11th and 12th, tbh.

why? I'm sure betting on some gleaguer with some potential for development would be much better for the franchise

There are one of the main reasons spurs loose yesterday, they bring nothing To the table.

really bad choices by the FO.

It's an absolute atrocity that these two scrubs have roster spots over dudes with actual NBA talent like:

Willie Reed
Briante Weber
Terrence Jones
Trevor Booker
Jordan Crawford
John Jenkins
Jaylen Barford

Charity. Even the 2014 team had Jeff Ayres on it. Pop loves end of the bench scrubs. The only difference this time is, they are not at the end of the bench, because we have 2 rookies on the team and military pecking order says vets before rooks no matter the skill level

they are healthy bodies. Yes we could use that space better, but whenever you attempt throwaway picks, you're bound to strike out way more often than not. I still don't get why they didn't go with Okafor instead, he was there for free...
