I'd barely heard of Humboldt County before in California being a place where hippie druggies like kw would go but had no idea the history of the place.

The thing the jumped out at me was how this type of backwoods lawless place can exist in 2019. Crazy

I liked it quite a bit. Such a beautiful area.

I liked it quite a bit. Such a beautiful area.

Aside from the trailer homes and junked cars the trees and hills look gorgeous

Just watched the first 2 last night. Good stuff. Although at times it sort of has a Dangerous Catch or Life Below Zero. Going back and forth with all the farmers and spending some time on each of their situations.
Regardless, it's very compelling and I'm surprised I hadn't every heard of any of this going on.

And yeah...beautiful area. Easy to see the appeal of living there.

Finished this up. 7.5/10

Will be interested to find out if they ever take the guy to trial. The way the cops treated this definitely makes me wonder if the accused was actually a snitch for the feds.
